Xbox One Officially Announced Cheaper Then PS4

Microsoft has been tweaking its console offering ever since in an attempt to become as popular as Sony’s machine. But it hasn’t worked. So it looks as though Microsoft is taking more drastic action, but doing so quietly.

Retail locations are advertising the Xbox One at £329.99. The official price at the time for Microsoft’s console was actually £349.99. That’s a £20 (US$32) discount. I figured it was probably a weekend offer to boost sales, but then this week I’ve found online retailers listing the Xbox One at a similar price point but with out the typical “was £349.99″ printed next to it.

Amazon UK has all the deals listed in one place and the standard console with no games is priced at just £324.85. That’s £25 (US$40) cheaper than the official price. You can also select to buy the console with Call of Duty, Destiny, or pre-order it with FIFA 15, Halo, Forza Horizon 2, of GTA V and only pay the RRP of £349.99. So you’re basically getting a game for free. However, the best offer has to be the pre-order for the white Xbox One with Sunset Overdrive, which is listed at the new lower price of £329.99.
